Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze requirements and design test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
  • Perform manual testing for web, mobile, and API-based applications.
  • Execute regression, functional, integration, smoke, and UAT testing.
  • Identify, log, track, and verify defects using tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to clarify requirements.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Perform basic automation testing using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or similar (if applicable).
  • Validate API responses using tools like Postman or REST Assured.
  • Ensure adherence to QA processes, standards, and best practices.
  • Prepare test summary reports and provide regular status updates.

Experience:

  • 2–3 years of experience in software testing (manual and/or automation).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience in writing clear, detailed, and well-structured test cases.
  • Knowledge of bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA,/Bugzilla).
  • Basic understanding of databases and ability to write simple SQL queries.
  • Experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI).
  • Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
