About the Role 

We are looking for a passionate and proactive Web Developer who enjoys building modern, scalable, and high-performing web applications. This role goes beyond maintaining websites—you will be responsible for developing new features, improving application performance, enhancing user experience, and implementing modern web development best practices.

Web Application Development 

• Develop, enhance, and maintain web applications using React.js and WordPress. 
• Build reusable, scalable, and maintainable frontend components. 
• Develop responsive, mobile-first, and cross-browser compatible user interfaces. 
• Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services. 
• Develop dynamic forms, dashboards, and interactive user interfaces. 
• Participate in application architecture and technical design discussions. 
• Troubleshoot production issues and resolve bugs efficiently. 

Website Management & Performance 

• Maintain company websites and web applications. 
• Ensuring the sites are SEO & AIEO friendly 
• Optimize website speed, performance, and responsiveness. 
• Improve Core Web Vitals and overall application performance. 
• Ensure websites are secure and follow OWASP security best practices. 
• Manage hosting environments, SSL certificates, domains, and deployments. 

Code Quality & Engineering Practices 

• Write clean, modular, reusable, and well-documented code. 
• Follow coding standards and best practices. 
• Participate in peer code reviews. 
• Write unit tests and perform developer testing. 
• Debug production issues. 
• Maintain Git branching and version control. 
• Support CI/CD pipelines. 

Innovation & Continuous Improvement 

• Research emerging web technologies. 
• Leverage AI-assisted development practices. 
• Recommend improvements in architecture, performance, and workflows. 
• Automate repetitive development tasks. 

Required Technical Skills 

• React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript (preferred). 
• Responsive Web Design, Flexbox, CSS Grid, Bootstrap/Tailwind/Material UI. 
• WordPress development, theme customization, plugin integration, Elementor. 
• Basic Node.js, REST APIs, JSON, JWT/OAuth basics. 
• MySQL and basic MongoDB knowledge. 
• Git, GitHub/GitLab, CI/CD basics, basic Docker knowledge. 
• Unit Testing (Jest/React Testing Library preferred), Postman, Chrome DevTools. 
• Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse, WCAG accessibility, OWASP Top 10 awareness. 

AI & Modern Development Skills 

• Experience with GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT or similar AI coding assistants. 
• Use AI for code generation, debugging, documentation, refactoring, testing, code reviews, and research.
